No. Beginners are welcome in our introductory courses, and many of our students are handling or shooting a pistol for the first time. We also welcome experienced shooters looking for a structured refresher, an opportunity to strengthen their fundamentals, or additional supervised practice.
Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable learning environment where students can build skills and confidence at their own pace.
Absolutely. Many students come to us because they want to become more comfortable and confident around firearms. Our training emphasizes safety, clear instruction, and practical skill-building in a professional, supportive environment.
Minors may attend when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must remain with the minor throughout the course.
Please note that concealed carry permit or license applicants generally must be at least 21 years old in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Additional eligibility and training requirements vary by jurisdiction.
Yes. We offer group packages for both firearms training and First Aid/CPR/AED training.

Yes. On-site First Aid/CPR/AED training is available for qualifying groups. We can coordinate training at your workplace, school, organization, or other appropriate location.
No. You do not need to own a firearm to participate in many of our introductory courses. Rental firearms may be available depending on the course and training location.
If you are considering purchasing your first firearm, training beforehand can also help you better understand firearm types, fit, controls, and what may work best for you.

Rental availability depends on the course and training location. Some of the ranges where we conduct training offer firearms and eye and ear protection for rent.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move safely and closed-toe shoes.
For range training, we recommend clothing that helps protect against hot brass. Higher-necked shirts are preferable to low-cut shirts, and a baseball-style cap can also be helpful.
Yes, when appropriate for the course. Firearms brought to training must be transported and handled in accordance with applicable laws, range requirements, and instructor directions.
Your course information will explain when and how personal firearms should be brought to class. If you have any questions about whether your firearm is appropriate for the training, please contact us beforehand.
No. E’s Best Firearms provides training and, when applicable, the documentation required to support a concealed carry permit or license application.
The permit or license itself is issued by the appropriate government authority, and applicants must meet the eligibility and application requirements of the jurisdiction in which they are applying.
